To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Ancestor Hunting [2023], the Sudbury District Branch Newsletter, we’re having a contest.
Who is eligible to enter – everyone with a story to share.
Contest rules – submit a story (previously unpublished), between 350 and 700 words (in .doc format) and include up to three photos (in .jpg format). The topic is your choice, a genealogy discovery, your family history, an interesting story or challenge… Send your submission by email to [email protected] You may enter as many times as you wish.
Entries must be available for publication in future editions of Ancestor Hunting. You may be contacted to provide additional information.
The prize – an entry will be drawn to win a one-year membership to Ontario Ancestors and the Sudbury District Branch (value $75.). There will be one draw for every 12 entries (a one in 12 chance to win), to a maximum of 3 draws.
Deadline for submissions – February 28, 2023. The draw(s) will be held at the March general meeting.
